YONGCHUN TANG, PH.D.

Dr. Tang is a world-renowned geochemist who uses the fundamental principles of chemistry to explain subterranean geochemical processes during the hydrocarbon formation, evolution, and production stages, and to design and apply cost-effective oilfield chemicals for improving hydrocarbon recovery in an environmentally responsible manner. He has pioneered in applying molecular modeling and designing techniques to many fields of organic geochemistry, surface chemistry, reaction kinetics, and petroleum chemistry. Dr. Tang has served as the corporation consultant for a number of global energy production companies.

Andreina Liborius

Dr. Liborius is the geoscience and development manager at GeoIsoChem. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Los Andes University, Venezuela in Geological Engineering. She completed her Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Geology and Geochemistry from the University of Oklahoma under Dr. Roger Slatt and Dr. Paul Philp. Her research interests include organic/inorganic geochemistry, sequence stratigraphy, basin modeling, and reservoir characterization of conventional/unconventional reservoirs.

Megan Sun

Ms. Sun is the chief financial officer at GeoIsoChem. She is in charge of finance, human resources, and general management at PEER. Ms. Sun is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Le “Chris” Lu

Dr. Lu is the senior scientist for research and development on advanced geochemistry characterization for conventional and unconventional resources. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in petroleum engineering at the University of Southern California. He is leading the efforts to develop a variety of computational methods on reservoir fluid characterization, reservoir compartmentalization, subsurface fluid flow mechanics, and hydrocarbon generation kinetics.
